What is PRINCE2®?

PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is the world’s most widely adopted project management methodology, used by government agencies, multinationals, and SMEs across 150+ countries. PRINCE2® 7 — the latest edition — has been updated to integrate with modern working practices including artificial intelligence, remote team management, and agile delivery approaches.

Unlike prescriptive methodologies, PRINCE2® is designed to be tailored to any project, any sector, and any organisation size. It provides a consistent, structured approach to project management that improves outcomes and reduces risk.

PRINCE2® Foundation

The Foundation level introduces you to the PRINCE2® methodology and is the prerequisite for the Practitioner exam. By the end of this course you will:

• Be able to describe the 7 practices (themes)
• Understand the PRINCE2® project management processes
• Know how PRINCE2® can be tailored to different project environments
• Be prepared to sit and pass the Foundation exam

PRINCE2® Practitioner

The Practitioner level builds on Foundation and demonstrates your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2® to real-world projects. The Practitioner qualification is valued by employers as evidence of genuine project management competence — not just theoretical knowledge.
